Term of Office:
May 2025 to May 2029
Family: I have three children, two adult children pursuing careers, and a daughter who attends Harter Middle School.
Years as a resident: Resident since 2012
Activities: My hobbies include baking, traveling, paddleboarding, and gardening. I have a particular interest in native plants, which was inspired by my dad, who maintains a 40-acre forest and garden. As a child, he took me on many camping trips where we enjoyed fishing, canoeing, and birdwatching. I am also influenced by my grandpa, who had a beautiful rose garden.
I love traveling and working remotely, especially in the Caribbean. I enjoy baking, particularly sourdough bread, and I like to grow vegetables and herbs in my garden to cook with, especially using Mediterranean recipes.
Work Experience:
I am currently a Title Examiner working remotely in residential and commercial real estate. I am also an experienced Emergency Room Nurse and Emergency Communications Registered Nurse.
Why I ran for the office of Village Office:
I aspire to be a community leader who listens to residents and advocates for them. My goal is to build a positive and productive future for the Village of Sugar Grove over the next four years and the next 40 years—one that is grounded in hearing the voices of our residents, being transparent, and treating everyone with the respect they deserve.
