Work Experience: My current role is as a District Manager with 13 direct reports serving the general Midwest. My background is in risk engineering and property loss control. My experience includes property loss prevention, highly protected risk engineering, insurance and risk management, emergency management, and industrial safety. I have been with my current company for the past 16 years, covering the central Midwest.
Years as a resident: I have been a resident of Sugar Grove for 13 years.
Activities: Researching medieval history, gardening, reading, sewing, needlework, and crafts.

Why I ran for the office of Village Trustee: This past fall, I was looking at upcoming elections and found that we had three trustee spots up for election. Given the issues with the TIF and having attended the hearings and meetings, I felt that the problems brought up were not given full attention. The residents in our village need to know that those representing them have similar interests and focus for the management and development of our community.
I applied for candidacy because the community needs representation responsive to the residents' needs and concerns. The community's voices should not only be heard but also acted on. I want to represent the residents of Sugar Grove fairly with open communication.
