Nixle Community Alert System

The Village of Sugar Grove provides residents with real-time emergency notifications and local alerts through the Nixle Community Notification System.

As a resident, there are several simple ways to register:

1. For residents in, or near, the Village of Sugar Grove to receive emergency notifications and local alerts text SUGARGROVE to 888777 from your mobile phone.
2. If you reside outside of the Village of Sugar Grove but are within the Sugar Grove Fire Protection District (Such as Fairfield Way, Foxmoor and Creekview Estates Subdivisions) and wish to receive emergency notifications and local alerts from the Fire Protection District text SUGARFIRE to 888777 from your mobile phone.
3. Go to the Village of Sugar Grove homepage   - scroll down to Community Alert Messages - and/or the Sugar Grove Fire Protection District Website ( www.sugargrovefire.com ) and sign up via the Nixle Widget.

Once registered, residents will receive a confirmation text to their mobile device. Residents may also customize their alert settings by going to www.nixle.com and creating a User Profile.

All Alerts will be targeted geographically, allowing residents to receive localized, relevant alerts from the Village of Sugar Grove and the Sugar Grove Fire Protection District. Nixle Alerts can be sent via Text, Email, Voice, Web, Social Media, and the Nixle Mobile App in an instant.
