50/50 Sidewalk Replacement Program

The Village of Sugar Grove has established a cost-share program for residents who wish to replace/repair their sidewalks. This program operates on a cooperative agreement where the Village contributes half the cost and the homeowner contributes the other half. Participation in the program is strictly voluntary. 

Residents who wish to be included in the 50/50 Sidewalk Replacement Program should call the Department of Public Works. Village staff will inspect the sidewalk to determine if it meets the criteria for participation. If funds are available and the sidewalk is eligible to be replaced, the resident will be asked to verify participation and submit payment before work is scheduled. 

Annual funding for the program is limited and is on a first-come first-served basis.
