Family: Married to wife Carol since 1975. Three children, Michelle, Christina and Michael
Education: A.S. Degree from Triton College, B.A. Degree from Northern Illinois University, M.S. Degree from Benedictine University in Management & Organizational Behavior.
Years as a resident: We built our home in Sugar Grove in 1994.
Activities: Since 1994 I have coached youth baseball, basketball and soccer along with being active in the Kaneland Schools supporting sports, the fine arts, and Music Boosters. I served on the Village Public Safety Committee for 7 years, Chaired the Village Police Commission for 5 years, and have been a Village Trustee since 2009.
Work Experience: I have been involved in Law Enforcement since 1978 and have been teaching Criminal Justice classes for Waubonsee Community College since 2009.
Why I ran for the office of Village Trustee: I believe that everyone should do all they can to make the community they live in a better place. Volunteering time and experience is a great way to do this. I felt that my emergency services and preparedness background brought something to benefit the board.
