On July 16, the Village of Sugar Grove surveyed 2,105 residential utility customers via email seeking input regarding communications preferences. The survey sought feedback on current communication methods such as the Village website and Facebook page along with new resources such as emergency text messaging as discussed at the July 7, 2020 Village Board meeting.
The survey closed after nine days with 743 total responses for a 35.3% response rate.

The Village of Sugar Grove endeavors to provide information in a convenient and timely manner to better facilitate the decision making process that helps shape our community. To improve resident access to important information, staff will use the results of this survey to develop more efficient and effective Village communication processes. Staff will report on these new processes as they are crafted over the following weeks.
Didn’t Get a Survey?
The Communications Survey was sent using emails on file for residential utility accounts. If you are a resident and did not receive a survey, the Village does not have your email address on file. If you would like to add an email address to your utility account, please submit your street address and a valid email account to firstname.lastname@example.org. Two email addresses per account will be accepted. If you believe your email is on file and you did not receive the survey, please check your email spam or junk folder; the email is sent through Survey Monkey.
Please note, if you have more than one email address attached to a household utility account and you have elected to receive your utility bills electronically, bills will be sent to all emails on that account. Also note that submitting an email address does not automatically enroll you for paperless billing.
